About the position
Responsibilities
• Coordinate administrative tasks, special projects, and training programs as assigned.
• Act as a resource for entry-level accountants or administrative staff.
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations for designated accounts.
• Propose correcting entries.
• Interpret financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.
• Prepare reconciliation of actual to budget variance analysis.
• Prepare and post moderately complex monthly journal entries.
• Create accounting analytics for internal and external reporting requirements.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related business field required.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience required.
• High School Diploma/GED and three years of related work experience accepted.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office spreadsheet applications required.
• PeopleSoft General Ledger proficiency preferred.
