Position Overview
The Department of Health Sciences & Nursing at Rider University seeks adjunct instructors to join the Graduate Nursing Adjunct Faculty for the 2025-2026 academic year. Successful candidates for these positions will teach in the pediatric clinical for the online Graduate Nursing
MSN or a post-master’s certificate in the family nurse practitioner program.
Salary is $4,133.31 for a 3 credit course.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• MSN degree and a terminal, professional degree completed, or in progress.
• NP national certification in one of the following specialties – FNP or PNP
• Three (3) years of pediatric focused nurse practitioner experience
• One (1) year of demonstrated teaching experience.
• Unencumbered license, or eligible for licensure, as an RN and APN in New Jersey
• Current practice in the NP role.
• Prospective candidates must have demonstrated experience teaching a variety of student populations and demonstrated expertise in their field of study.
• The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about the use of student focused pedagogy in order to engage students in the learning process.
• Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.

• Demonstrated online teaching experience
• Graduate nursing teaching experience
