Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Authorization Specialist to join our School-Based Behavioral Health Program. In this remote-hybrid role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate authorization of client services, maintaining compliance with program regulations, and providing essential administrative support. Responsibilities: Obtain and accurately enter service authorization requirements into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Scan and upload necessary documentation into the EMR. Conduct daily verification of client insurance eligibility. Maintain and update client information within the EMR. Prepare authorization packets, including gathering signatures and completing required documentation. Communicate with PCPs and other providers to obtain ROI and collaboration requests, and track responses. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services or Business preferred. Minimum of 1 year of administrative support experience in a medical or human services setting. 3+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook).
