As a Barclays Disputes Back Office you will serve as an advisor to customers who contact the bank regarding billing error or dispute regarding a transaction posted to their account. You will act as an advocate for customers as they attempt to pursue credit from the merchant. Routinely using case management tool and reports to actively review and maintain cases to ensure timely and accurate handling of inquiries. You will be involved in stages of the dispute and chargeback cycle including case initiation and evidence gathering, merchant contact.

What will you be doing?
⠢   Actively managing a caseload of 100+ casesÂ
⠢   Maintaining departmental standards regarding to production, quality, and aging
⠢   Protecting the customerâ s federal regulated consumer rights regarding billing error inquiries
⠢   Determining chargeback rights available in accordance with association regulations
⠢   Maintaining a quiet, secure area without the presence of family or co-habitants, free of distractions
⠢   Assisting customers with any account questions regarding disputes
What weâ re looking for:
⠢   One plus years of experience within banking or call-centerÂ
⠢   Solid analytical skills
⠢   Proficient PC skillsÂ
⠢   One plus years of Fraud or Chargeback Experience
Skills that will help you in the role:
⠢   One plus years of disputes or chargeback experience preferred
⠢   Knowledge of credit card processing
⠢   Knowledge of association (MasterCard/ Visa/ AMEX) chargeback regulations
⠢   Knowledge of Reg Z and Reg E
