Our high-dosage tutoring model pairs students with the same tutor for 2-3 sessions a week, fostering a strong tutor:student relationship and promoting academic success. Key Responsibilities Indicate your availability to tutor without minimum or maximum requirements Complete curriculum reviews for the lesson content you would like to use in sessions Tutor students virtually in a 1:1 - 1:3 setting, building relationships and reviewing provided lesson content materials Impact a student's learning experience with your expertise and support Commit to a consistent schedule to build a strong tutor:student relationship Requirements to Apply To be considered for this role, you must: Reside in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii and hold US citizenship Have relevant experience working with school-age learners in some capacity Be able to effectively tutor math in both Spanish and English Have relatively consistent calendar ongoing availability to support a session series from week to week at the same time with the same student(s) Possess confident knowledge of at least one of the following: algebra I, algebra II, geometry, or pre-algebra Have the ability to instruct and engage students with clear communication and interpersonal skills Be comfortable with online virtual tools and technology Have a desktop or laptop using the Chrome browser, a video camera, and a reliable/stable internet connection A bachelor's degree is preferred, but college students with 1+ years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
