We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Center-Based Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a supportive and inclusive environment. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in helping children develop critical skills, such as language, communication, social, and school readiness behaviors, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training
- Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols, as outlined in client’s individualized treatment plan
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
- Assist with parent and caregiver training, in line with client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols
- Ensure documentation is completed on time and following established procedures
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress, as instructed by BCBA/BC
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment
- Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials, behavior reduction assessments, and skills acquisition
Requirements:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation and, in some cases, proof of driver’s license and valid car insurance
- Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, along with a TB test, if not already completed in the past year
- Ability to physically perform the job, including lifting up to 50lbs and standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude, patience, and emotional control in a fast-paced environment
