About the Role:
As a Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure) at Costco Wholesale, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure environments using Microsoft Azure
- Building prototypes of potential features and improving automation of applications, systems, and platforms
- Applying knowledge to practical and sustainable applications and capabilities
- Contributing to the development of business, technical, project, and operational strategies
- Influencing and driving the adoption of best practices and high-quality standards across the division
- Integrating various solution components across multiple platforms using industry-standard interfaces
- Testing and resolving issues, performing root cause analysis, and recommending solutions and preventative measures
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of scripting experience to automate operational tasks
- Ability to advise and guide various team members through several concurrent projects
- Familiarity with cloud methodologies and passion for cloud technologies
- Microsoft Azure certification is preferred
- Experience with the Azure portal and console, XML, SOAP, REST, PowerShell, and Puppet
- More than 3 years of experience implementing enterprise cloud technologies and more than 2 years of experience with enterprise software systems
