*Job Summary:**
We are seeking a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in Mainframe and Vantage Policy Admin Systems for Application Support and Enhancements. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise on Vantage Life and Annuity Insurance Application Support and dependent applications
Identify and Implement changes to increase Application Performance and reduce processing time for long running batch Jobs
Resolve batch job failures and address issues proactively to minimize business impact
Provide technical guidance to application development and support team members
Technical Expertise:
Perform architect design for system enhancements and application design on Vantage and Intefacing Applications
To involve in technical design review for new life and Annuity Product development and enhancements
Programming Skills:
Developing code in COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, Web Services, and CICS technologies
Collaboration and Support:
Coordinating with offshore team on a daily basis and help understand the business requirements and new applications
Providing SIT and UAT support and production roll-outs
Provide oversight and mentoring to Application Development and Support teams
Incident Management:
Respond immediately to IT Service Now Adhoc User Requests, analyze and resolve Incidents and problems
Review changes being deployed to Production for any fixes specific to Incidents and Problem tickets
Resolve high-priority incidents reported and perform Root Cause Analysis
Offshore/Onsite Experience:
To work extensively at Offshore/Onsite and familiar with onsite – offshore model
