We're looking for a Commercial Salvage Associate to investigate, evaluate, and settle low- to moderate-complexity vehicle titling issues. The role involves communicating with customers, maintaining records, and learning to perform quality control and compliance review. Requirements Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone using active listening skills. Analytical, problem-solving, prioritization and organizational skills. Moderate math and computer skills with technical aptitude to utilize a variety of software applications. BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience Clerical, office or support experience and 0-2 years customer service experience. DMV title experience Bilingual a plus! Ability to learn different lines of coverage (i.e., homeowners, auto, personal property). Ability to employ critical thinking. Ability to work in a flexible, changing environment. High sensitivity, confidentiality, diplomacy and tact in dealing with work/titling issues. Ability to learn Department of Insurance regulations and DMV regulations in multiple states. Ability to learn to handle low-complexity claims. Recognizes issues needing escalation. Receives coaching and works with guidance and partnership through resolution. Works with supervisor to resolve the most complex issues (i.e., sale and title issues, including multi-state titles).
