Credit Dispute Specialist:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Credit Dispute Specialist for a contract role. This position is a remote position working East coast hours.
Credit Dispute Specialist – Job Description:
The project involves supporting a project by hiring multiple Credit Dispute Specialists to handle consumer credit disputes. These roles are essential for managing credit report-related disputes and ensuring compliance with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) guidelines.
Credit Dispute Specialist – Responsibilities:
• Investigate and resolve consumer credit disputes
• Utilize E-Oscar system for dispute resolution
• Adhere to FCRA standards and guidelines
• Process disputes related to incorrect account openings, late payments, and credit score inaccuracies
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to maintain compliance
Credit Dispute Specialist – Mandatory Skills:
• Hands-on experience with credit disputes
• Strong understanding of Fair Credit Reporting (FCRA)
• Familiarity with e-OSCAR, ACDVs, and AUDs
• Experience working with credit bureaus
• Ability to operate independently with minimal ramp-up time
Credit Dispute Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience from other regulated financial domains, like auto or mortgage
• Prior banking experience
• Familiarity with Metro 2 guidelines
• Background in financial services
Credit Dispute Specialist – Assignment Length:
The contract is expected to last 6 months, with possible extensions.
