Qualifications:
The successful candidate has the ability to juggle multiple projects and should be driven, detail-oriented, amicable, a strong collaborator and hungry to do great work.
• A four year degree in computer science or a related field is preferred
• Experience in an agency or start-up environment a plus
• Experience or exposure with back-end programming languages
• Experience with at least one modern CMS (Drupal, WordPress, etc.)
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or willingness to learn
• Ability to create and consume JSON APIs
• Rock solid HTML and CSS skills, knowing where and when to leverage emerging technologies like HTML5 and CSS3 and how to mitigate browser/device inconsistencies
• Thorough understanding of JavaScript and the DOM
• Expertise in JavaScript and at least one JavaScript framework (such as React).
• Experience converting PSDs into fully responsive sites
• Familiarity with Web standards and semantic code required, along with an awareness of implementing best practices for SEO, accessibility and performance
• Ability to identify and correct bugs and bottlenecks in new and existing projects
