We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the platform team and take ownership of maintaining and evolving the Google Cloud Platform for products.
Responsibilities:
– Automate deployment processes and optimize cloud infrastructure.
– Monitor cloud costs and improve performance and availability.
– Enable engineering teams with solid tooling and expertise in the software delivery lifecycle.
– Ensure security and keep internal IT processes running smoothly.
Requirements:
– Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane (Google Config Connector is a plus!).
– Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Elixir, or JavaScript/Node.
– Proficiency in Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine, and ArgoCD.
– Solid foundation in Golang and/or Python.
– Worked with AWS, Azure, or (ideally) Google Cloud Platform.
– Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, PromQL, and Grafana.
– Proactive, curious, and resourceful.
– Organizational and communication skills that enhance collaboration.
