About the Role

At Mux we strongly believe that hiring exceptional talent is core to our success, and that the entire team plays an active role in recruiting. We’re looking for a Director/Head of Talent to help us double headcount every year, grow a diverse and healthy team, and build a world-class Talent function. This role will report to the Head of People and Talent.

What You’ll Do
• Develop recruiting strategy and vision, while managing and mentoring a team of 8+ incredible recruiting team members (including direct reports who are managers, recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators)
• Drive growth of the team from 175 to 400+ across technical and business teams over the next two years
• Build on our DE&I practice, driving the strategy and team to hit our diversity hiring goals
• Use talent analytics to increase our recruiting productivity and effectiveness
• Partner with marketing on brand awareness campaigns from a talent perspective to increase our strong reputation with prospective candidates
• Partner with finance and operations to develop the headcount plan during planning and budgeting cycles

Who You Are
• You have experience hiring & developing recruiting managers as well as junior and senior level recruiting team members
• You are strategic and operational – you regularly use data to inform team strategy
• You enjoy solving hard problems and digging deep as a player/coach
• You have proven, successful cross-functional influence with technical, business, and executive teams
• You show commitment to Mux values: Be Human, Care Obsessively, Turn Customers Into Fans
• Prior experience
• Experience scaling both technical and business recruiting
• Experience managing managers
• Experience managing a team that can scale hiring to >200/year
• Experience sourcing and closing for senior level roles/working with executive search partners
