About the Role

In this remote position, you’ll be responsible for both strategic planning and tactical execution, working closely with Business, Marketing, and Creative stakeholders to develop and implement digital merchandising plans for key product initiatives. Your scope will include new product launches, product refreshes, promotions, campaign support, and general content upkeep. You’ll leverage data insights to optimize landing page content and campaign performance, while contributing to broader merchandising best practices and strategic initiatives across Verizon’s product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to develop digital merchandising plans for key product and marketing initiatives, including new product launches and promotions.
  • Define functional requirements and coordinate with design, development, and support teams to ensure accurate and timely implementation of merchandising plans.
  • Analyze landing page and campaign performance using various data sources, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with testing and optimization teams to apply insights to sales and marketing-focused content.
  • Contribute to broader merchandising best practices and strategic initiatives, identifying and leveraging best practices across Verizon’s product portfolio.
  • Identify, solve, and implement process and platform enhancements to improve productivity, quality, and team happiness.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on merchandising physical products and/or subscription products in a digital environment.
  • Experience with digital marketing, creative, and content development fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple, complex, cross-functional projects/initiatives.
  • Experience working within a team environment under pressure, with the ability to support key initiatives outside regular working hours.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience will make you an even more competitive candidate:

  • Working knowledge of digital UI/UX best practices and common digital SDLC processes for managing product and marketing content.
  • Experience with audience-specific merchandising or personalization.
  • Analytics skills and comfort with engagement and sales-related data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite or Microsoft Office document-related applications (e.g., PowerPoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets).
  • Fundamental knowledge of digital technology and systems.
