**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Full Stack Electrical Engineer to join our team at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, USA. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining safe and efficient electrical systems throughout the resort, including the Hotel’s 480V, 208V, 5kV, and 12kV electrical distribution systems and central plant electrical systems. **Job Responsibilities:**
As a Full Stack Electrical Engineer at the Disneyland Resort, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
* Design and manage low-voltage distribution systems, including the coordination of system assessments and reviews to evaluate conditions, activities, and maintenance requirements, and the planning and design of electrical projects to meet relevant codes and regulations.
* Audit the Utility-created “programs” for the confinement of parts of the electrical system required for maintenance and development activities.
* Create and maintain system drawings created by in-house and outside designers for accuracy, completeness, quality, and compliance.
* Provide recommendations for system upgrades, improvements, substitutions, and ensure that electrical projects comply with material building codes, such as NEC, NESC Title 24, CBC, NFPA, OSHA, insurance requirements, and Disneyland Resort Standards.
* Collaborate with Resort partners and outside experts/contractors for the maintenance of the Hotel’s one-line charts, power system studies, power management systems, and the development of energy management plans.
* Develop and implement energy management plans to reduce energy consumption and costs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for energy efficiency and sustainability.
* Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of electrical services.
* Provide technical guidance and support to the Utility and Support Services and other support teams.
* Provide timely direction and assistance to the restoration of electrical services following a forced blackout or a California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) mandated load reduction.
* Collaborate with WDI and Resort partners for special events and other Resort operational activities.
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills:
* ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Electrical Power systems design and operation.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California.
* Minimum of seven years of experience in the design and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
* Experience using computer-based electrical design and modeling software, including SKM Power Tools and Energy Master.
* Proficiency in the use of email, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
* Broad knowledge of NEC, NESC, Title 24, OSHA, and other relevant codes and regulations.
* Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to clearly communicate complex issues to non-technical peers and management.
* Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
* Experience with a campus climate electrical distribution systems, including chiller plants, boiler plants, air handling units, pumps, power management systems, circuit breakers, transformers, motors, meters, environmental sustainability, variable speed drive systems, and energy efficiency projects and initiatives.
* Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and ArcGIS.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on power systems design and operation.
* Experience working with create work and project workers to work with system repairs and equipment maintenance.
* Experience combining electrical distribution system design and data into a Geographic Data Framework (ArcGIS).
