As a flex houseparent, you will live in on-campus student homes, offering guidance and support to a group of 8-12 students. Your role is essential in providing a nurturing, family-like environment while managing responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. Initially, you will work with various student homes before being assigned to one specific home.</p> <p><b>Benefits:</b></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary of $44,768 per person, with a total compensation package of approximately $165,000 for the couple, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more.</li> <li>Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision insurance; health savings and flexible spending accounts; life and disability insurance; retirement savings options.</li> <li>Relocation assistance and paid training are provided.</li> <li>Enjoy a work schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, including time for personal activities while students are in school.</li> <li>Receive a three-week paid summer vacation.</li> </ul> <p><b>Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>Experience with youth, particularly from under-served backgrounds, is preferred.</li> <li>A married couple with a minimum of two years of legal marriage.</li> <li>Both spouses must be aged 27 or older.</li> <li>Only three dependent children allowed to reside in the student home.</li> <li>Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free environment; no alcohol consumption while on duty.</li> <li>Limitations on pets; fish and one dog of approved breeds permitted.</li> <li>A valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans.</li> <li>Comfortable leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (proselytizing is not allowed).</li> <li>A high school diploma or GED is required.</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li> <li>Demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students.</li> <li>Both spouses must submit separate employment applications.</li> </ul> <p>This unique career opportunity demands dedication and commitment from both spouses.
