About the Role

As an Instructional Paraprofessional, you will work under the direction of classroom teachers and case managers to deliver high-quality instructional services and support to students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Tutoring and instructing students under the guidance of classroom teachers
  • Assisting with instructional materials preparation and technology integration
  • Recording student progress and providing feedback
  • Supporting students during group work and helping them maintain focus and engagement
  • Modifying instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs
  • Monitoring hallways, study halls, and reinforcing school-wide behavioral expectations
  • Performing clerical tasks, such as scheduling, copying, and data management

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should:

  • Possess an Associate’s degree or 2 years of college credit (or equivalent)
  • Hold a V endorsement driver’s license (or be eligible for the endorsement)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Show a strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students and teachers
  • Be able to follow directions in both oral and written forms
  • Have prior experience working with school-age children (preferred)
