As an Instructional Support Technologist, you will: Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and staff, and various IT and curriculum departments, providing clear and concise communication and troubleshooting technical issues. Collaborate with Instructional Support leadership and senior staff to maintain online support ticket services and training avenues, ensuring a seamless online education experience. Provide level 2 support for student and faculty issues, working directly with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve issues with the LMS, system passwords, and other educational technology solutions. Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal processes and information databases, ensuring all support processes are documented and easily accessible to team members. Participate in the implementation of university curriculum and technology change requests, course and program revisions, and quality assurance initiatives. Assist in the coordination and production of online, virtual, and face-to-face training for faculty and students, promoting best practices and technical implementation in online instructional materials and methods. To succeed in this role, you will need: 1+ years of experience in education technology or a related field, with a strong understanding of higher education and instructional technology. 1+ years of full-time work experience in higher education, supporting faculty in online, hybrid, and web-enabled courses utilizing instructional technology. Experience working with LMS platforms such as Canvas, Blackboard, or D2L, and a strong customer service background adhering to department service level agreements. An Associate's Degree in education technology, instructional design, information technology, higher education leadership, or a closely related field.
