Are you an organized and motivated individual interested in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, and event planning? NephCure is seeking a highly driven Fundraising & Events Intern to support our team this summer. This role offers hands-on experience in nonprofit development, communications, and community engagement – all while making a difference in the lives of patients affected by rare kidney diseases. Responsibilities: Donor & Data Support: • Assist with entering and managing donor data and reports • Help ensure accuracy and organization of fundraising and donor records Event & Campaign Assistance: • Support planning and logistics for fundraising events and campaigns • Help with tasks like attendee management, auction item prep, and materials coordination Development Operations & Outreach: • Assist with donor research and outreach, including identifying prospects and supporting donor engagement efforts • Help coordinate mailings, scheduling, and logistics for fundraising campaigns and initiatives Marketing & Communications: • Help draft donor emails, fundraising materials, and social media content • Collaborate with the team on campaign messaging and visuals Qualifications: • Currently pursuing a degree in event management, business administration, marketing, nonprofit management, communications or a related field. • Strong writing, communication, and research skills • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Salesforce experience is a plus • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks • A team player who can also work independently and take initiative Details: • Internship runs June-August 2025 (flexible scheduling) • 10 hours/week (120 total hours) • Fully remote • Stipend: $2,500 • Supervisor: Chelsea Andreadis, Manager of Development & Community Fundraising Perks: • A flexible, part-time, work-from-home schedule • Real-world nonprofit experience in events, fundraising and donor relations • Mentorship and professional development • The opportunity to make a difference in the rare disease community How to Apply: Email your resume and a cover letter (highlighting why this internship is a good fit for your goals and skills) to Chelsea Andreadis at [email protected].
