As an Internal IT Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for initial technical assistance, addressing user issues, and providing administrative support for office IT equipment. This role is an excellent gateway into the IT organization, offering opportunities for skill development, career growth, and professional advancement. You will collaborate with our IT Operations team, receive comprehensive training, and have access to support for second and third-level issues.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and managing the global helpdesk system, prioritizing and resolving issues based on urgency and business needs
- Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting hardware issues, and coordinating repairs when necessary
- Configuring and managing user accounts, permissions, and access across various systems (Active Directory, Office 365, etc.)
- Resolving technical problems, answering inquiries, and guiding users in a clear and concise manner
- Assisting users with software-related inquiries, including login issues, access, and functionality
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field
- Experience working with Mac OS, Windows 10, Azure Active Directory, and Exchange/Office 365
- Strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a global, multi-cultural environment
- Ability to document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- 5+ years of experience (flexible)
Advantageous skills and qualities include:
- Experience with OKTA, Azure, JAMF, Slack, and Jira
- Interest and enthusiasm for solving users’ problems
- Independence, proactivity, and excellent communication skills
- Fluency in both verbal and written English
