Responsibilities:

As a Lead Payroll Specialist, you will:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the UAE
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships across Finance, Product, and Engineering
  • Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filing requirements, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance
  • Ensure payroll operations are fully compliant with DMCC, MOL, or WPS requirements
  • Mentor and support payroll specialists
  • Implement and improve processes

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • In-house payroll management or equivalent experience leading the full end-to-end processing of UAE payroll
  • Hands-on experience with DMCC, MOL, or WPS workflows
  • Knowledge of payroll best practices
  • Proficiency in using software tools like SAP, Excel/Google Sheet
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment
  • Fluent English language skills
