Responsibilities:
As a Lead Payroll Specialist, you will:
- Act as a subject matter expert for the UAE
- Manage key stakeholder relationships across Finance, Product, and Engineering
- Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filing requirements, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance
- Ensure payroll operations are fully compliant with DMCC, MOL, or WPS requirements
- Mentor and support payroll specialists
- Implement and improve processes
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- In-house payroll management or equivalent experience leading the full end-to-end processing of UAE payroll
- Hands-on experience with DMCC, MOL, or WPS workflows
- Knowledge of payroll best practices
- Proficiency in using software tools like SAP, Excel/Google Sheet
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment
- Fluent English language skills
