Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain the company vehicle used for pickups and deliveries
- Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of packages to designated locations
- Load and unload packages, ensuring their proper handling to prevent damage
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating courteously and professionally with clients during pickups and deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself, other road users, and the packages being transported
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, payment receipts (if applicable), and any discrepancies
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate department
- Follow company policies and procedures for package handling, security, and confidentiality
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns
