We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Center-Based Behavior Technician to join our team at Life Skills Autism Academy (LSAA) in Zionsville, IN. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism develop essential skills and behaviors to reach their full potential.
Job Summary:
We offer a unique opportunity to work with children up to age 6 who have received a diagnosis of Autism. As a Center-Based Behavior Technician, you will provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training. You will follow individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and work towards mastering skills and meeting goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training
- Follow individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
- Communicate with parents/guardians/caregivers regarding client progress
- Assist with parent/guardian/caregiver training and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:
- ABA certification – Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation
- Adult & Pediatric First Aid + CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear Tuberculosis (TB) test prior to starting with a client (and annually thereafter)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with autism or disabilities
- Education or pursuing education in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related fields
