Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment in compliance with state, federal, and Department of Transportation regulations
- Operate dock tools to ensure freight is loaded securely and properly
- Load, recoup, rewrap, and stack freight as needed
- Verify shipments by reading labels and correctly securing freight for both loading and unloading trailers
- Follow established bill and quality control procedures to ensure timely, claims-free, and cost-efficient shipments
- Log, report, and process any shortages and damages to freight
- Promote and maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Warehouse, freight, dock, forklift, or pallet jack experience (preferred)
- Forklift certification or hazmat training (preferred)
- Ability to lift and move objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
