Job Summary: The First Officer is the Second-in-Command of the flight, responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations, directives, and company policies. As a key member of our team, you will operate our B747-400 or MD11 fleet, working closely with the Captain to guarantee the safe and efficient execution of flights. Essential Duties: Operate in accordance with Western Global Airlines' approved manuals, Operations Specifications, 14 CFRs, FAA Orders, and manufacturer recommendations Comply with administrative programs, including airport/route qualification, flight time limitations, currency requirements, and uniform discipline Education and Technical Requirements: Current and valid FAA ATPL Valid FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate Valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit ICAO English Level IV Minimum 2500 hours of total flying experience No history of accidents or incidents Valid US passport for unrestricted international travel Previous part 121 airline/aviation experience preferred Able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and 10-year background check Preferred/Ideal Skills: College degree in Aviation or related field Previous B747-400/Boeing or MD-11/Airbus aircraft type rating 1000 hours of flight time under Part 121 operations Military flight time as pilot in command (PIC) of a multiengine, turbine-powered, fixed-wing airplane PIC experience in operations under § 135.243(a)(1) or § 91.1053(a)(2)(i) If you're a motivated and experienced aviation professional looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we invite you to join our team.
