Role and Responsibilities:
As a Mail Document Handler – Part Time, you will contribute to the efficient and accurate handling of mail and packages within our facility. You will ensure mail flow is uninterrupted and documents are processed with care and precision.
• Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Scan, verify, and document mail items using automated systems
• Ensure accuracy in labeling and mail categorization
• Prepare mail for distribution, dispatch, and delivery
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of mail contents
• Assist in maintaining inventory of mailroom supplies
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily mail processing targets
Required Skills and Experience:
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills for scanning and tracking mail items
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a mailroom, warehouse, or logistics role
• Familiarity with USPS mail handling protocols or similar procedures
