Job Summary:
We’re looking for a talented and experienced professional to join our team as a Manager – Account Development. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing our charge aggregator business, driving online growth, and developing strategic partnerships. You’ll work closely with our online team to define and implement strategies that enable American Express to achieve full coverage in online recognition.
Responsibilities:
- Craft strategic partnerships with charge aggregators and partners in the online space
- Drive online growth, achieve close charge targets, and increase revenue volume in the charge aggregator space
- Identify, evaluate, and drive business opportunities with partners, focusing on growing partner engagement, product development, revenue growth, and cost reduction
- Manage transaction processing infrastructure and build additional capabilities on the network by working with internal teams, third-party processors, and payment service providers
- Drive regulatory mandates and work with internal teams to ensure compliance and mitigate fraud risk
- Grow sales, increase relationships with PSPs, and craft unique experiences for merchants and card members
- Coordinate local and divisional sales operations for American Express payment gateway services
- Implement policies across online websites through regular interaction coordination with the purchase team at online aggregators and follow up on holdouts
- Craft consistency in approach for new acquiring models and online companies
- Identify strategy associated with new products and new technology support
- Implement strategies to identify and penetrate diverse industries in the online space
- Use merchant engagement to build alliances for promotions and joint online campaigns with the marketing department and enhance visibility in the online space
- Liaise with internal teams to enable payment gateway at merchant’s end
- Support customer issue team for BAU activities
- Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers
Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent degree
- 5+ years of experience in handling payment aggregator business in the online space
- Experience in crafting and managing strategic partnerships in the charge aggregator space
- Excellent influence management, relationship, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in consultative selling
- Experience in handling relationships, especially at the C/L1 level
