About the Role

As the Manager of Film Content Consumer Insights, you will oversee a team of researchers who collaborate with key film executives, marketers, and creators. Your mission will be to develop and implement innovative research approaches that inform film strategies across development, production, and marketing. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of the film industry, exceptional research skills, and the ability to communicate complex insights effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of researchers, fostering strong relationships with film Content & Marketing executives and creators.
  • Develop and prioritize research roadmaps, ensuring maximum business impact.
  • Represent the consumer’s perspective in film leadership forums, driving creative decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance & Strategy and Data Science, to inform broader business strategies.
  • Develop innovative research approaches, promoting new ways of thinking and problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of hands-on research experience in the film industry, network/studio/streamer, or market research agency.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and mentoring research teams.
  • Deep knowledge of movie research, particularly in development, production, and marketing strategy.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting data-driven insights to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to represent the consumer’s POV in leadership forums and collaborate effectively across departments.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: $320,000 – $560,000.
