We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to teach phonics, reading, and writing courses to students aged 4-15 on our innovative online learning platform, LingoAce. Job Responsibilities:
- Teach phonics, reading, and writing courses to students aged 4-15 via our online platform
- Conduct one-on-one trial classes (25 minutes) and small group regular classes (55 minutes) with up to 6 students
- Develop engaging lesson plans and activities that promote student participation and learning
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals
Schedule and Compensation:
- Flexible schedule with no minimum hours commitment for one-on-one trial classes
- Fixed schedule for small group regular classes (once a week, 18 weeks per semester)
- Peak hours: Weekdays (5:00 pm – 10:00 pm EST) and Weekends (8:00 am – 10:00 pm EST)
- Competitive hourly rate: $20-$33 per hour
- Additional incentives for completing homework and enrolling students
- $100 incentive for completing the first class by September 30th
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, English Language, or Literature
- At least 3 years of experience teaching ELA, reading, or writing courses
- Native English speaker from the US, Canada, UK, or Australia
- Please note that we are not currently partnering with teachers from California, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Illinois
