About the Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Math Teacher to provide engaging and effective virtual instruction to middle high school students. This role requires expertise in advanced mathematical concepts, test-taking strategies, and the ability to help students excel in their coursework and exams.
Responsibilities:
• Teach 6th grade – 12th grade in an engaging virtual environment.
• Prepare students for exam success through problem-solving strategies, practice exams, and conceptual understanding.
• Explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
• Utilize digital tools and resources to enhance online learning.
• Provide feedback on student progress and assist with challenging topics.
Requirements:
• State Teaching Credential (Required – Must be currently valid)
• Experience Teaching Math (3+ years preferred)
• Experience in Online Teaching (At least 1 year preferred)
• Strong Internet Connection (Reliable high-speed WiFi required)
• Afternoon & Evening Availability (Between 2 PM – 9 PM, based on student needs)
• Resides in the U.S. (Required)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience grading or preparing students for the AP Math exam.
• Ability to guide students through FRQs and multiple-choice strategies
• Experience with online learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, Desmos, etc.)
• Passion for making advanced math concepts engaging and understandable
Compensation:
• Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and credentials)
