Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our team. As a Spanish Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students, helping them develop their language skills and cultural understanding. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote student learning
– Teach Spanish language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
– Incorporate cultural activities and resources to enhance students’ understanding of the Spanish-speaking world
– Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop instructional materials and share best practices
– Provide individualized support to students who may need extra assistance or enrichment
– Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments
Skills:
– Strong knowledge of the Spanish… language and grammar
– Ability to effectively teach Spanish to students of varying proficiency levels
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Knowledge of educational technology tools for language learning
– Familiarity with learning styles and differentiated instruction techniques
– Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
– Strong organizational skills to manage lesson planning, grading, and record keeping
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
– Teaching certification or license in Spanish education
– Experience teaching Spanish at the middle or high school level (student teaching experience may be considered)
– Knowledge of special education strategies for supporting diverse learners
