Role Overview
We are looking for a part-time property management bookkeeper to support us with accurate tenant and revenue tracking. This role requires prior experience in property management bookkeeping and a solid understanding of RentTech, commercial leases and tenant ledgers.
Scope of Work (~12 to 15 hours/month):
Record monthly rent payments, late fees, and partial payments.
Flag delinquencies and prepare simple aging/delinquency reports.
Generate monthly revenue and rent-roll reports.
Update lease data (renewals, escalations, amendments).
Maintain organized, accurate records for handoff to CPA at year-end.
Requirements:
This role is work from home but must reside in San Diego County for occasional in-person meetings
Prior experience in property management bookkeeping (industrial/commercial).
Strong experience with RentTech property management software.
Strong understanding of tenant ledgers, rent rolls
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Comfortable working ~12 to 15 hours/month on a flexible schedule, with heavier activity at the start of each month.
