As a Part-Time Faculty member in Health and Physical Education, you will have the opportunity to teach a range of courses, including Elementary Physical Education Curriculum and Instruction, Secondary Health Education Curriculum and Instruction, and Adapted Physical Activity for Children with Pediatric Disabilities. You will be part of a vibrant community of educators who are dedicated to creating a rich and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Health and Physical Education
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum
- Mentor and support students in their academic and professional development
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Health and/or Physical Education Teaching
- Current or expired Health and/or Physical Education teaching license
- Minimum of three years of industry experience or three years of teaching experience in higher education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Evidence of expertise and effectiveness in online instruction
- Experience teaching in a higher education setting
- Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation
