Compensation Range: $39 - 44 per hour We are seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Instructional Designer to join our client's team for a remote, contract to perm opportunity! The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training materials that enhance employee skills and knowledge. This role demands a strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and multimedia development. Responsibilities: Design and develop engaging training materials, including eLearning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, and multimedia content. Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop curriculum plans. Utilize adult learning theories and instructional design models to create effective learning experiences. Develop and edit scripts for use with AI voice-over software (e.g., WellSaid, Elevenlabs). Create and edit multimedia content using Adobe programs (Illustrator, Photoshop) and video editing tools (Camtasia, Premiere, Sony Vegas). Write effective instructional text, audio, and video scripts. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and flexibility. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors 5+ years of experience in instructional design, training, and development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., 3 years of instructional design experience or a 4-year instructional design degree). 3+ years of relevant training and development experience. Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360 and Articulate Rise. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Workday Learning. Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models. Experience with Adobe programs (Illustrator, Photoshop) and video editing software (Camtasia, Premiere, Sony Vegas) preferred. Familiarity with AI voice-over software (WellSaid, Elevenlabs) is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy office environment.
