Pharmaceutical Business Development Manager – Inside Sales

Summary

As an Inside Sales Territory Business Manager for a leading, generic pharmaceutical distributor, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building relationships. You will establish a portfolio of accounts, engage with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and other key stakeholders, and provide exceptional customer service while promoting our pharmaceutical products. Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth within your assigned territory. Identify new business opportunities and expand market share for our pharmaceutical products.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, including pharmacies, healthcare providers, and other clients. Provide tailored solutions based on customer needs and preferences to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest product offerings, industry trends, and regulatory requirements. Communicate the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of our products to customers and prospects.
• Engage with potential and existing customers through calls, emails, and virtual meetings to generate sales. Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage sales pipelines, and ensure timely follow-up.
• Work closely with internal departments such as marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Participate in sales meetings and collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices.
• Monitor sales performance within your territory and report on key metrics, including sales volume, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts. Provide regular updates to management and adjust strategies as needed to meet goals.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide after-sales support to ensure ongoing satisfaction. Be proactive in identifying potential challenges and working with internal teams to find effective solutions.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Two or more years of experience in inside sales

Preferred Qualifications
• College degree in Business, Life Sciences, or Pharmacy
• Two or more years of experience in inside sales in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Skilled in selling a commodity and differentiating oneself to the competition
• Experience in selling generic chemotherapies and IVIG to infectious disease, oncology, & hematology, and allergy &immunology practices
