We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Solid Organ Transplant/Nephrology team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). As a Registered Nurse in our Medical/Surgical Unit (H9), you will provide direct patient care to assigned patients, specializing in solid organ transplantation and nephrology. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to patients within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adhere to institutional policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collect and document assessment data, develop a Plan of Care (POC) per standard, and implement POC including medical orders and interdisciplinary approaches.
- Evaluate patient progress toward attainment of desired outcomes, provide effective patient/family education/discharge planning, and administer medication per standard.
- Act as a resource/support for others, deliver patient care using the principles of the defined nursing modality, and delegate care based on UAMS standards, legal and regulatory requirements, and individual level of education and training.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Associate’s degree in Nursing, Diploma RN, or Master’s degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nursing experience
- Valid Registered Nursing License
