We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Supervisor to join our team as part of the Retail Commercial Enterprise Services (RBS) Vendor Achievement Software (VSP) group. As a key member of our team, you will have the exciting opportunity to assist in forming and delivering a strategy for managing vendors for Amazon Retail US.
In this role, you will thrive in an ambiguous environment where you will need to increase, implement, and iterate on business strategies to drive growth and excellent experience for sellers. You will operate as a business owner who recognizes key levers to achieve results through your team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering a strategy for managing vendors for Amazon Retail US
- Interacting directly with Amazon’s companies and multiple internal teams to enable Amazon’s vendors to grow on Amazon
- Utilizing negotiation skills and working across primary functional areas to drive the performance of seller partners at Amazon
- Focusing on growing our business with Amazon seller partners
- Investigating operational aspects of their business with Amazon, root cause analysis of problems and opportunities affecting the seller’s business
Key Task Duties:
Business Growth:
- Fulfillment will be measured through the performance of your assignment and deliverables on key metrics
- Contribute to business strategy development and identify the right key metrics that drive growth and enhance the end customer experience, in collaboration with cross-functional teams and other Amazon programs
- Possess the ability to manage and deliver against complex goals where approach is not defined
- Identify new opportunities across a large number of brands, develop and execute project plans
Relationship Management:
- Build and cultivate relationships with vendors to your team’s portfolio in conjunction with internal stakeholders; be a trusted advisor and a business advocate
- Display vendor delight survey results to investigate both positive and negative comments trends, set up improvement plans and manage expectations with account managers as appropriate
Process Excellence:
- Use customer feedback, market growth trends, and analyze key metrics to contribute to strategic development of functions and programs that accelerate growth and improve selling partners’ experience working with Amazon
- Identify areas of unnecessary process or inefficiencies and work to simplify, optimize, and scale upgrades that could benefit a large set of customers
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to evaluate performance drivers
- 3 years of client or seller facing roles with a focus in relationship management and negotiation skills experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience aggregating and analyzing internal and external marketing campaign metrics to evaluate performance drivers and discover insights
- Demonstrated track record of building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders, driving resolutions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through with excellent verbal and written communication
