As a Remote Apple Specialist, your responsibilities may include:
- Developing applications, programs, and features using AppleScript or Xcode to improve back-end processes or produce customer-facing products
- Creating programs and apps that are operable on Mac OS and iOS systems, including integrations
- Writing clean, testable code and resolving bugs, bottlenecks, and inconsistencies discovered through testing
- Collaborating with and providing tech support to product, design, and marketing teams, including training and troubleshooting
- Maintaining databases, operating systems, support for third-party software, and program documentation
To become a successful Remote Apple Specialist on Upwork, you’ll need:
- To be at least 18 years old with a reliable internet connection
- Experience is not required, but it’s preferred – we welcome talented individuals of all levels!
Preferred skills for this role include:
- A background in computer science, mobile app development, software development, programming, or a similar field
- Experience working with multilayered code architectures
- Familiarity with standard software testing practices
- Fluency in AppleScript, Xcode, and other technologies related to Apple coding
