Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Process Coverage Determination Requests within CMS Timeframes
- Effectively communicate pharmacy benefits verbally and in writing
- Maintain strong attention to detail while multitasking in a high-demand environment
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pharmacy Retail, PBM, Hospital, or Managed Care
- Proficiency in Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
- Knowledge of prescription drug names, therapeutic classes, and claims processing
- Understanding of Privacy Regulations
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Medicare Part D Experience
- Contact Center Experience
- Knowledge of CMS/NCQA regulations
- Understanding of pharmacy claims processing
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma required
- 2 years of college preferred
