In this part-time role (10 hours/week), you'll be responsible for: CEO Time Optimization: Ensure the CEO's time is maximized effectively, recommending and making adjustments to daily schedules based on shifting priorities. Task Management: Align the CEO's tasks and projects with the organization's strategic objectives, tracking and ensuring follow-up action items are completed. Communication Triage: Prioritize and assist in response to emails, calls, and requests addressed to the CEO, determining which require immediate attention and which can be deferred or delegated. Calendar Management: Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and events for the CEO, ensuring scheduling conflicts don't occur. Document Preparation: Create, edit, and proofread business documents, presentations, and reports. Meeting Coordination: Coordinate and oversee logistics for board meetings, company-wide events, and other initiatives, ensuring the CEO is well-informed and equipped to handle all discussions. Feedback Loop: Act as a sounding board for the CEO, providing feedback on various matters from an operational perspective. Team Liaison: Serve as a bridge between the CEO and the executive team, facilitating clear communication and ensuring organizational alignment. Special Projects: Assist with or lead on special projects that drive social impact and support the organization's mission. To excel in this role, you'll need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Five years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably with direct experience managing or supporting a CEO or senior executive. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to think several steps ahead. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). High emotional intelligence, with the ability to anticipate needs and think critically. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced environments, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
