About Us: At Cattle Care, we're passionate about increasing revenue for dairy farms while reducing greenhouse gas emissions, antibiotic usage, and hormone usage. With $3.2M in funding from renowned investors and a growing customer base of 115 dairy farms, we're poised for continued success. Our team is dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment and the dairy farming industry, and we're looking for like-minded individuals to join our mission. Job Description: We're looking for a talented video technician with expertise in camera configuration, quality control, and remote troubleshooting of video systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SSH, Linux terminal, Git, and network configuration, as well as knowledge of computer hardware and video codecs. If you're a critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Configure and update camera settings to ensure optimal performance Conduct quality control checks on video footage to identify and resolve issues Pull footage from remote Network Video Recorders using Teamviewer or FFMPEG Troubleshoot and repair systems remotely, providing timely and effective support to our customers Maintain accurate records and documentation, with a focus on attention to detail and follow-through Collaborate with our team to resolve technical issues and improve our video systems Requirements: Strong skills in Linux terminal, SSH, Git, and network configuration Knowledge of computer hardware and video codecs Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills High attention to detail and ability to follow established processes and guidelines Conversational English skills for internal communication with our team High school diploma or equivalent required Nice to Have: Experience with Linux administration and FFMPEG Familiarity with video codecs (H.264, H.265, AV1) and containers (.mp4, .avi, .mkv) Ideal Candidate: We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and organized, with a strong focus on process-driven work.
