Key Responsibilities: Test Strategy: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand product requirements and design effective testing techniques, including functional, performance, and scalability testing. Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications, defining testing scope, objectives, and timelines. Test Execution: Conduct various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and API testing, and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement. Test Automation: Drive the development and maintenance of automated test suites to improve testing efficiency and coverage, using test automation frameworks and tools to streamline the testing process. Defect Management: Document and track defects using appropriate bug tracking systems, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools, recommending and implementing improvements to increase testing effectiveness and efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to provide valuable feedback and contribute to the development process. Quality Advocacy: Champion the importance of quality across the organization, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of quality assurance. Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical fields, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance, ideally with experience in testing web applications, streaming services, or similar technologies. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, testing types, and test automation frameworks. Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for test automation, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, JIRA). Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
