We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Patient Care Aide to join our team at Aetna, a leading healthcare provider. As a Patient Care Aide, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team. This is a full-time remote position offering a competitive salary of $27-$35 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Rooming patients, taking vital signs, and documenting demographics, insurance, medical history, and test results in our electronic health record system (EPIC)
- Performing point-of-care testing for strep, flu, COVID-19, and other tests as required
- Assisting with patient registration, managing the waiting room, and setting expectations for wait times
- Providing clinical patient care within state guidelines and under the supervision of a MinuteClinic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment, including exam rooms and waiting areas
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Recent experience in healthcare or completion of a relevant program (e.g., CNA, MA, EMT, PCT, Pharmacy Technician, Nursing Student)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and excellent customer service skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently
- A Basic Life Support certification from the American Red Cross or an approved provider
Preferred qualifications include experience with electronic health records (e.g., EPIC) and a high school diploma or equivalent.
