As a Junior Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting project execution and contributing to the success of key initiatives. You will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience and developing essential skills in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and project management. Role Specific Duties: Â Execute key tasks within project workstreams. Â Gather and analyze data to support decision making. Â Develop project artifacts like process flows, requirements docs, and presentations. Â Track project tasks, milestones, risks, and issues. Â Assist in the development and implementation of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) components for client projects. Â Contribute to the creation of business capability-focused roadmaps and resource allocation plans. Â Conduct data analysis and research to support SPM strategies and recommendations. Â Assist with stakeholder management and communications. Â Conduct research on industry trends and best practices. Â Support development of project deliverables and status reports. Â Participate in client meetings and workshops, providing support to senior team members. Â Learn and apply SPM methodologies and tools in practical client situations. Â Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support project execution. Required Qualifications: Â Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Â 2-4 years of experience in technology consulting or federal IT. Â Familiarity with program/project management concepts and tools. Â Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Â Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Â Experience with Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) tools (e.g., ServiceNow SPM) and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)) is highly desired. Â Basic understanding of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) concepts and eagerness to learn more. Â May require up to 10% travel. Â Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years and be Federal Tax compliant.
