As a Sales Associate, SME, you will be responsible for generating new sales, building and maintaining relationships with key internal partners, and developing senior-level client contacts. Your expertise in technology solutions and consultative selling skills will enable you to deliver client-specific solutions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to increase profitability and expand American Express Global Business Travel’s influence.
  • Lead sales efforts to deliver multiple revenue streams and drive premium revenue growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of key business drivers, organizational culture, and competitive positioning to create tailored solutions for clients.
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitor products and services to highlight the value of Amex GBT products and services.
  • Enhance the American Express Global Business Travel value proposition through policy consultation, technology road mapping, and online solution optimization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of business development experience with strong industry knowledge.
  • Proven track record of generating new pipeline through prospect engagements and proficient in SalesForce.com and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Exceptional relationship management and consultative sales skills, with the ability to synthesize client needs and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to handle objections and achieve mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Highly articulate written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a simple and compelling way to various audiences.
