Description
Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled Compensation professional for a temporary assignment to cover day-to-day compensation administration and conduct specific compensation analyses. This role will report to the Sr. Director, People Operations and involves collaborating with HRBPs and business leaders to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of our compensation programs. There is a potential for a temp-to-hire conversion for the right candidate.
Tasks:
External Benchmarking:
Utilize the Economic Research Institute (ERI) salary survey database to complete external benchmarking for new and existing positions.
Provide insights and recommendations to HRBPs and business leaders regarding market trends and competitiveness.
Job Description Construction:
Offer feedback and guidance to HRBPs and business leaders on the construction of comprehensive and accurate job descriptions.
Off-Cycle Compensation Adjustments:
Consult with HRBPs and business leaders on off-cycle compensation adjustments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budgetary considerations.
Compensation Framework Analysis:
Conduct various analyses on the existing compensation framework and salary structure.
Ensure consistency and internal equity across job families, job grades, and other relevant factors.
Variable Incentives Analysis:
Conduct detailed analyses on variable incentives, bonuses, and commissions.
Recommend improvements and adjustments to enhance the effectiveness and competitiveness of incentive programs.
Desired Skills:
Compensation Administration: Demonstrated experience with the basics of compensation administration, including salary structure design, market pricing, and pay equity considerations.
External Benchmarking: Proven ability to conduct external benchmarking using tools such as the Economic Research Institute (ERI) salary survey database.
Incentive Program Design: Experience with the design and improvement of variable incentive programs, including bonuses and commissions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience in a compensation analyst role, preferably within the healthcare or consulting industry.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with HRBPs, business leaders, and other stakeholders
