Job Summary:
The Seasonal Groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of outdoor areas throughout the campus, including mowing lawns, weed eating, cleaning flower beds, and using a blower to clear sidewalks and other walkways. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently outdoors in various weather conditions, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the appearance of outdoor areas throughout the campus, including mowing lawns, weed eating, and cleaning flower beds
- Use a blower to clear sidewalks and other walkways
- Work efficiently outdoors in various weather conditions
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals
- Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or related field
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or related field
- Knowledge of the use of push mowers, riding lawn mowers, and weed eaters
