One of our clients, a rapidly growing company in the Upstate of South Carolina, is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst. This high-impact role is designed for a finance professional with strong analytical skills, cross-functional business acumen, and the ability to partner with leaders across all levels of the organization. What you will do:
Financial Planning & Analysis
• Partner with executives, general managers, operations, and commercial teams to produce accurate plans and forecasts for revenue, costs, margins, and operating expenses.
• Review results against forecasts, providing variance explanations and actionable recommendations.
• Deliver clear, concise analyses and develop repeatable models to guide decision-making.
• Support month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, reviews, and reporting.
Business Partnership & Operations Support
• Serve as a finance and operational business partner, providing insights to improve profitability and streamline processes.
• Partner with leaders across different business units
• Monitor and analyze key metrics such as machine utilization, scrap, yields, downtime, BOMs, and overhead rates.
• Drive improvements across procure-to-pay and quote-to-cash processes, including pricing and lead generation.
Strategic Projects & Process Improvements
• Lead working capital reviews by analyzing inventory and project-related financials.
• Support compliance initiatives, including audit activities and controls testing.
• Assist in developing best practices, policies, and standardized reporting across corporate and business units.
• Review and evaluate strategic initiatives, pricing strategies, and operational projects, recommending enhancements for profitability and efficiency.
What you bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or accounting, ideally within manufacturing or diverse corporate environments.
• Strong understanding of FASB/IFRS standards, revenue recognition, and lease accounting.
• Systems savvy with expertise in ERP and CRM programs (Oracle, SAP, Salesforce), BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Oracle BI, OneStream), and advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
• Proven ability to partner with cross-functional leaders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong attention to detail paired with the ability to think strategically and see the big picture.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding deadlines.
