This is a remote role for our client based in US, Canada, or Mexico.
Candidate requirements
• Previous experience in backend platform engineering (e.g work on core platform, site reliability, high scale system, data processing)
• 8+ years of experience working on high scale systems. We’re not considering work experience working on frontend technologies or work experience outside of actual jobs (no side gigs or solo gigs).
• Must have experience working in the cloud
• Must have solid experience in at least one backend language
• Must have familiarity with Kubernetes
• Must have worked on high scale systems
• Must have worked at at least one startup before
• Must actively want to work for a startup
Nice-to-haves
• Nice to have experience in Typescript, Kotlin
• Nice to have experience with Clickhouse, Athena, Presto
The salary range is $160,000 – $230,000
