About the position
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage key business efforts related to annual planning, business reviews, and executive milestones.
• Work closely with the Apple One and Books leads to execute on priorities set by the business and cross-functional partners.
• Leverage strong critical thinking skills to prioritize business demands and provide leadership for high-visibility issues.
• Ensure facilitation of alignment and accountability with partners on established business objectives and corresponding initiatives.
• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules, ensuring that changes and updates are communicated effectively across teams.
• Create clear and compelling Keynotes, planning documents, and other communications.
• Provide proactive communication of potential operational challenges, proposing effective solutions to optimize efficiencies when appropriate.
• Build and continue to grow cross-functional relationships, establishing trust and fostering day-to-day operations.
Requirements
• 5+ years experience in a business or marketing operations or program driven role.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a proven track record of managing business and/or marketing projects in a transparent and well-documented manner.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.
• Experience independently coordinating and navigating complex interactions across levels of an organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Journalism, Media Studies, or equivalent work experience.
Nice-to-haves
• Proficiency in Keynote, Numbers, Quip and other project management software.
• Strong awareness of diverse perspectives, with excellent observational skills and active listening abilities.
• Extremely comfortable in navigating an environment of ambiguity and uncertainty, and can set direction in their work even when needed information or data may be missing or unknown.
